The Bellefontaine Police Department investigated a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of Main Street and High Avenue.
The crash happened around 3:45 p.m.
A 2024 Kia Forte driven by 42-year-old Angela Beverly of Springfield was traveling southbound on North Main Street near West High Avenue.
A 2019 Jeep Cherokee driven by 33-year-old Elise Hauser of Lakeview was traveling southbound directly behind the Kia.
When Beverly slowed for traffic, Hauser failed to maintain an assured clear distance and struck the rear of the Kia.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage, and no injuries were reported.
Hauser was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
