SHARE NOW

Good morning and welcome to Listen Up!

Listen up! is a weekly public affairs show where I talk about topics here in our county, and beyond.

Listen in as I chat with Michael Wilson from the Logan County Electric Cooperative as we talk about ways to save money this winter on your electric bill.

Next Sunday, I will catch up with Sheriff Randy Dodds and Bellefontaine Police Chief Chris Marlow and chat about mental health in Logan County.

Electric companies have a long history of fighting against energy efficiency measures. In the 1970s, electric companies lobbied against the creation of the Energy Star program, which is now a government-backed program that labels energy-efficient appliances.

Logan County Electric Cooperative can teach us to stay warm by rubbing two nickels together.

Will we have 2 nickels to rub together after paying our heating bill?
