Here is your guide to local celebrations and fireworks shows across Logan and Champaign Counties.
Saturday June 20-Triad Local Schools Red, White & Cards Community Festival. Breakfast starts at 8:00. Events throughout the day include a motorcycle rally, car show, inflatables, corn hole tournament, volleyball tournament, food trucks, bingo, scavenger hunt, flag football and more. Fireworks will conclude the evening at 10:00.
Saturday June 27-St. Paris Community Fireworks held at Graham Middle School. Event starts at 5:00 with face painting, DJ, food trucks, dunk tank, bounce houses, pizza eating contest, and silent auction. Fireworks will begin at dark.
Saturday June 27-4th of July Celebration at Lions Park. Softball games will be held all day at the park. There is also a Summer Street Market and Car Show from Noon-10:00. Fireworks begin at dusk.
Saturday June 27-Rushsylvania Independence Day Celebration. Parade starts at noon. Activities during the day include corn hole tournament, kids activities, food trucks, vendors, and more. Fireworks will be set off at dusk at Rushsylvania Village Park, located at 119 South Miami Street.
Sunday June 28-Christiansburg Community Park’s Independence Day Celebration. This event will feature food, vendors, and fireworks at dusk.
Friday July 3-Bellefontaine’s first annual fireworks display at Blue Jacket Park. The celebration starts in the afternoon with food trucks and games. The fireworks will begin at dark. 98.3 WPKO will have a special music soundtrack to go along with the fireworks called Skyfire: Bellefontaine, presented by Fat Boy’s Pizza & Ice Cream.
Friday July 3-Urbana Rotary Fireworks Fest at Grimes Field. The annual chicken BBQ will be served from 3:00-6:30. Music and festival run 5:00-10:00 with the fireworks show beginning at approximately 10:00. 106.9 The Bull will feature Skyfire: Urbana with a country mix of patriotic music to enjoy the show.
Saturday July 4-Belle Center Independence Day Celebration at Richland Township Park. A day of festivities includes a parade, food vendors, games, kids activities, Karaoke contest, shows and more. Fireworks will be set off at the park at dusk. Take your radio and have it on 107.3 The Drive for Skyfire: Belle Center. It will feature a Classic Rock mix of patriotic music beginning at 9:45.
Saturday July 4-West Mansfield Independence Day celebration at the Conservation Club begins with the Firecracker 5k at 8:30. Enjoy food trucks and vendors throughout the day and the fireworks show at 10 p.m.
Saturday July 4-Indian Lake’s annual “Light Up the Lake Spectacular” will feature the area’s largest fireworks display. The show will begin at 10:00. Turn on your radio to 98.3 WPKO for Skyfire: Indian Lake featuring a specially made music soundtrack choreographed with the fireworks. Skyfire: Indian Lake is presented by McDonald’s of Indian Lake.
Saturday July 11-East Liberty Fireworks and Independence Day Festival at Perry Park. A parade starts the day at noon. From 1:00-6:00 there will be bounce houses, kids carnival, ring toss, face painting, hot dog eating contest, and more. Fireworks will be set off at 10:00.
Saturday July 11-Mechanicsburg Our Towne Summer Celebration at Goshen Park. Parade starts at 2:00. Touch a Truck at 2:30. Kids games will be from 4:00-7:00. The G-Gap Band will perform from 7:00-10:00 will fireworks to follow at 10:00.
