Logan County Children’s Services is inviting families to come together for a day of fun, education, and community support during KidFest 2026, an event focused on raising awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The event will take place Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bellefontaine High School, located at 555 East Lake Avenue in Bellefontaine.
KidFest will feature a wide range of free activities for children and families throughout the day.
Highlights include a magic show at noon, face painting, balloon sculpting, cookie decorating, a photo booth, and a horse petting zoo.
There will also be cotton candy, snow cones, and other treats available, along with a DJ providing music and entertainment.
In addition to the fun, the event will offer community resource tables and child ID kits, giving families access to helpful information and services.
A fire truck will also be on site for kids to explore.
Live performances by Gloria’s Tumbling and Dance Fuzion are scheduled as part of the festivities.
Organizers say KidFest is designed not only to provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere but also to highlight the importance of protecting children and strengthening community connections.
The event is free and open to the public.
