Silvercrest of Urbana Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center will host its annual Trunk-or-Treat celebration Thursday, October 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The free, family-friendly event will take place rain or shine in the parking lot at 2380 State Route 68 South in Urbana.
Children can trick-or-treat at creatively decorated vehicles, where Silvercrest staff will distribute candy. Complimentary popcorn, hot dogs and bottled water will also be available throughout the event.
Families are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes and bring a bag, pillowcase or pumpkin basket to collect treats from the decorated vehicles.
Silvercrest Administrator Natalie Hill said the annual celebration provides an opportunity for residents, staff and community members to enjoy the fall season together and strengthen community connections.
The event is open to the community, and reservations are not required.
