Marker, Inc. unveiled the results of its internal United Way campaign at the company’s Fall Service Awards event Thursday evening, announcing a record-breaking total of $94,020 raised.
This amount, pledged by just over 100 associates and matched 100 percent by the company, sets a new high for Marker’s involvement in the United Way campaign.
The donation helps push the United Way of Logan County’s total fundraising to over $855,000, bringing the organization closer to its goal of raising $1 million this fall.
These funds will support United Way’s mission to enhance the health, education, and financial stability of individuals in Logan County.
The Fall Service Awards ceremony, held in Marysville, gathered key representatives from both Marker, Inc. and United Way of Logan County to celebrate the achievement.
Among those present were Dave Bezusko, Executive Director of United Way of Logan County; Becca McGillis, Interim Director of United Way of Logan County; and Marker’s own Miranda Hickey, Human Resources Coordinator, and Lexi Roby, Human Resources Manager.
The funds raised will go toward a variety of local initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for residents of Logan County.
The United Way campaign continues its push to meet the $1 million target, with support from both local businesses and individuals playing a crucial role in achieving this goal.
