Drivers in Bellefontaine should plan for temporary road closures Monday morning due to the Memorial Day Parade.
Closures are scheduled for Monday from 8:30 a.m. until noon along the parade route.
The following streets will be affected:
- Colton Avenue west to South Main Street
- South Main Street north to Sandusky Avenue
- East Sandusky Avenue east to North Hayes Street
- North Hayes Street north to the Bellefontaine Cemetery
Officials are asking motorists to use alternate routes and appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation during the event.
The parade steps off at 9:00 AM from Colton Avenue on Main Street, turns right onto Sandusky Avenue, travel left onto Hayes Street before concluding at the Bellefontaine Cemetery for a brief ceremony.
