Indian Lake High School has named Maddie Miller and Blake Jackson as their April Seniors of the Month.
Maddie Miller is the daughter of Greg and Delna Miller of DeGraff.
School activities and awards: Wrestling (CBC Scholar Athlete Award, Scholar All-American Award, Character and Leadership All-American Award), Track and Field (Discus School record, CBC First team Discus, Second Team) , DECA/BPA, NHS- Indian Lake Committee Chair, 4.0 Honor Roll
If I were principal for a day: I would go back to our old phone/personal device policy.
Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is going to the State DECA Convention.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: People who have been an inspiration to me are my parents and my coaches!

My advice to parents: Always support and talk to your kids:)
My biggest regret: I regret not taking more major college classes that deal with my major (so I don’t have to take them in college).
Next year I will be: Wrestling at North Central College in Illinois while majoring in Exercise Science.
Blake Jackson is the son of Kelly Hoffman and Kurt Hoffman of Lewistown.
School activities and awards: Key Club, Science Club, BPA, DECA, Chorale, Choir VP, Student of the Year, NHS
If I were principal for a day: I would let everyone have their phones during school hours.
Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is representing my school at the DECA State Conference at the Convention Center.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: I’m inspired by my mom.

My advice to parents: Push your kids to do their absolute best in school, and whatever it is they do in life.
My biggest regret: I regret not taking enough college classes in order to graduate with my associates degree.
Next year I will be: A freshman at Columbus State Community College.
