Congratulations to Stella Pulfer, a fourth grader at Bellefontaine Intermediate School, for earning top honors in the State Fire Prevention Poster Contest.
Stella’s poster, highlighting the importance of fire prevention and the use of smoke detectors, was selected as a standout entry among K–5 students in Logan County.
Her work then advanced to the state level, where it won first-place recognition.
This afternoon, Stella was surprised at school and honored in front of her classmates and family by local firefighters and representatives from the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office.
.She received a certificate, ribbon, and gift basket to celebrate her achievement.
Her winning artwork will also be displayed this summer at the Ohio State Fair in the Fire Safety Booth, sharing her important fire prevention message with fairgoers from across the state.
School officials praised Stella’s creativity and dedication, saying her achievement serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety in every home.
