Republican Party Gets Updates from Congressman & Lt. Governor

The Logan County Republican Party held its annual Spring Fling Monday night at the Honey Birch Farm outside West Liberty.

Logan County Sheriff, Randy Dodds, gave a quick update about the disaster at Indian Lake after last week’s tornado.

He praised the countless volunteers who are working tirelessly to aid those in need.

Law enforcement remains heavy in the area due to unfortunate looting.

The group then heard an update from Congressman Mike Turner, a lifelong resident of Southwest Ohio.

In Congress, Turner is a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee and has previously served as a lead Republican of the Tactical Air and Land Forces subcommittee.

Congressman Turner has served on the House Prominent Select Committee on Intelligence since 2015 and was appointed chairman of the committee in January of 2023.

Afterward, Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted talked to the group about the things the State has brought to Logan County in the past year and encouraged the group to get out and vote, and then support whoever wins the election:
