The Bellefontaine Rotary Club was on the move Monday with a special visit to Benjamin Logan High School to recognize and engage with the school’s ROC Club.

Members of Rotary joined students and staff for a lunch meeting in the school’s media center.

The gathering allowed students to share more about their ongoing service projects while discussing future opportunities to work together with local Rotarians.

Benjamin Logan’s club, proudly chartered on October 1, 2013, continues to thrive through leadership and service experiences.

The ROC Club, made up of students dedicated to service, has taken part in a wide range of projects throughout the year.

These include assembling Belle Center Community Food Bags for the Backpack Program, supporting the Red Cross Blood Drive, roadside cleanup efforts, helping with Trick-or-Treat events for elementary students, and volunteering at the Rotary Pancake Breakfast.

They’ve also contributed to holiday events like the Bellefontaine Christmas Parade, delivered cookies to Logan Acres, and helped organize the Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt for first graders.

The club also serves at Our Daily Bread in Bellefontaine and helps with the Benjamin Logan Backpack Program.
