Seven Benjamin Logan ladies selected for Buckeye Girls State

Seven juniors from Benjamin Logan High School have been selected to attend Buckeye Girls State, a week-long program held at Bowling Green State University from June 8th through 14th.

The program, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Post 266, educates young women about the rights and responsibilities of good citizenship.

The selected delegates are:

  • Evelyn Allen
  • Winifred Bodin
  • Ella Chamberlain
  • Annika Chappell
  • Caroline Spriggs
  • Taylor Shoffner
  • Greyson Wagoner

These students were chosen based on their interest in government, leadership skills, strong academic standing, and high moral character.

Buckeye Girls State provides hands-on learning experiences about government operations and citizenship, with opportunities to earn awards, honors, and scholarships.
