A three-vehicle crash was reported Friday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 68 and County Road 111.

The crash happened just before 3 p.m.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, a 2010 Ford F-150 driven by 54-year-old Christopher Lowery of Rushsylvania was stopped at the stop sign on County Road 111, facing west.

A 2010 Mitsubishi Endeavor driven by 60-year-old Tammy Queen of Bellefontaine and a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 17-year-old Adalynn Peterson of Belle Center were both traveling north on U.S. 68.

Deputies say Lowery failed to yield the right of way and entered U.S. 68 into oncoming traffic.

His truck then struck both Queen’s and Peterson’s vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

The Ford sustained minor damage, while the Mitsubishi and Chevrolet sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.

Lowery was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
