A 2023 Ford F-350 driven by William Cooper, 46, of Bellefontaine, ran the red light at the intersection of Main Street and Columbus Avenue Wednesday morning around 11:15 AM.
Cooper was traveling eastbound on Columbus Avenue when he went through the intersection and hit a 2017 GEM Sierra operated by Alana Calland, 43, of West Liberty, who was northbound on South Main Street.
Cooper was issued a citation for the red light violation.
No injuries were reported.
Both trucks were towed from the scene.

A two-vehicle crash briefly closed the intersection of Main Street and Columbus Avenue in Bellefontaine Wednesday morning.
The crash happened shortly before 11:30 a.m.
The intersection was closed for a short time while Bellefontaine Police investigated.
No other details have been released.
Further information is expected Thursday.
