Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of County Road 130 and County Road 37 near Huntsville.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened shortly after 1:00 p.m.
Deputies say 52-year-old Chad Chenault of Springtown, Texas, was driving a 2024 Dodge Ram 3500 eastbound on County Road 37 while pulling a trailer loaded with plastic piping.
After stopping at the intersection, Chenault reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way to a 1992 Chevrolet pickup driven by 68-year-old Daniel Predmore of Bellefontaine, who was traveling north on County Road 130.
Predmore’s pickup struck the rear of the trailer being pulled by Chenault.
Predmore suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported by Bellefontaine EMS to Lima Memorial Hospital.
His passenger, 39-year-old Nathan Beach of Huntsville, was also taken to Lima Memorial Hospital by Huntsville EMS with suspected serious injuries.
Chenault was evaluated at the scene by Indian Lake EMS and was not transported.
His passenger, 51-year-old Jason Naudler of Adkins, Arkansas, was also checked for possible injuries and cleared at the scene.
Chenault was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
Deputies also cited him for operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department, Bellefontaine EMS, Huntsville EMS, and Indian Lake EMS.

Emergency crews responded Tuesday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 130 and County Road 37, just outside of Huntsville.
According to information from the scene, at least two people were transported by ambulance to Lima Memorial Hospital.
The extent of their injuries has not been released.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
Fire and EMS personnel from the Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department, Bellefontaine Fire Department, and Indian Lake EMS responded to the scene.
