The United Way of Logan County is once again collecting school supplies to help local students start the new school year with the tools they need to succeed.
The annual Stuff the Bus campaign is now underway, with donations being accepted through Monday, August 17. All supplies collected will be distributed to students and teachers throughout Logan County.
This year’s donations will benefit:
- Bellefontaine City Schools
- Mac-A-Cheek Learning Center
- Benjamin Logan Local Schools
- Calvary Christian School
- Indian Lake Local Schools
- Ohio Hi-Point Career Center
- Riverside Local Schools
- West Liberty-Salem Schools
United Way says several items are in especially high demand, including backpacks, disinfecting wipes, elastic waist pants and shorts, over-ear headphones, pencils, and Post-it Notes.
The organization is accepting a wide variety of additional school supplies, including:

In 2025, over 11,000 items were collected.
United Way encourages individuals, businesses, churches, civic groups, and organizations to participate by donating new school supplies before the August 17 deadline.
Organizers say every donation helps ensure Logan County students have the supplies they need for a successful school year.
