RWE has announced an important update regarding the Hillclimber Solar & Storage project in Urbana Township. Based on feedback from residents, the company has decided to shrink the project area. Specifically, the area near the intersection of South Dugan Road and Sloan Road will no longer be included in the planned development. This change is intended to reduce the project’s impact on nearby neighbors and the surrounding community.
A map showing the updated project boundary is enclosed, and a more detailed version will be available at the upcoming public meeting.
The second Public Information Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 13th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Ridge Hall in Urbana.
RWE encourages residents to attend the open house to learn more about the revised project plan and to ask any questions they may have.
