**UPDATE**
As of 11 o’clock on Wednesday, November 6, the boil advisory for Russells Point is canceled. Water has tested clean and no longer needs to be boiled before use.
The Village of Russells Point has issued a Boil Water Order for several areas following a water main break.
The affected locations include West Main Street (from Rite Aid to West Wilgus), Second Street, First Street, Coon Drive, Wilgus Drive, and Wilgus Court.
Residents in these areas are advised to boil water for at least five minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing their teeth.
This Boil Water Order will remain in effect until further notice.
Updates will be provided as the situation is resolved.
