West Liberty-Salem Local Schools is celebrating Homecoming 2026 this week with activities for students, families, alumni and the community.
This year’s Homecoming includes the annual parade and community pep rally Thursday, the Homecoming ceremony and football game Friday, and the Homecoming Dance Saturday evening.
2026 Homecoming Court
The underclassmen attendants are freshman Marissa Fish, sophomore Ella Jacobs and junior Arianna Weaver.
Senior king candidates are Aiden Hull, Garrett Hull, Josiah Johnson, Kash LeVan and Tucker Searles.
Senior queen candidates are Bayleigh Deam, Grace Jones, Belle Sarver, Kiersten Stoll and Reagan Winters.
Homecoming Parade and Community Pep Rally
The annual Homecoming Parade will be held Thursday, September 17, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with Grand Marshal Brian Yoder leading the parade.
Because of other events at Lions Park Thursday evening, parade participants are asked to enter Lions Park from State Route 245 using the entrance closest to town. The parade will exit the park onto Pickrelltown Road and continue along the traditional route.
Following the parade, the community is invited to Lions Park for the Community Pep Rally on the main ball diamond.
Homecoming Friday
Homecoming activities continue Friday with a student pep rally.
The 2026 Homecoming Court will be presented at 6:10 p.m. at Tiger Stadium before kickoff. The Homecoming King and Queen will also be crowned during the ceremony.
The Tigers will then take the field for the annual Homecoming football game.
Homecoming Dance
Homecoming Week will conclude Saturday, September 19, with the West Liberty-Salem High School Homecoming Dance.
The school is inviting students, families, alumni and community members to take part in Homecoming 2026 and celebrate West Liberty-Salem school spirit and the tradition of being a Tiger.
