The Bellefontaine Chieftain season came to an end in Xenia Wednesday night losing to the 2-seed Oakwood Lumberjacks, 62-52.
Bellefontaine led the Lumberjacks for most of the game and entered the locker room at halftime with a 25-23 lead.
A strong third quarter helped push the Chieftains to a 45-40 entering into the final frame.
However, the fourth quarter has plagued the Chiefs all season and Oakwood took advantage of that, outscoring Bellefontaine 22-7 in the final quarter.
Junior guard Grayson Lotts led the Chieftains with 17 points, 15 of those in the form of 3-pointers in the first half.
Senior guard Jacob Salyer dropped in 11 points and Jair Mundy ended with 9.
Bellefontaine ends the season 10-14 overall.
The Hillclimbers followed suit, falling to Brookville 59-44.
The Blue Devils outscored the Hillclmbers 37-25 in the second half.
Leading the way for Urbana was Julian Davis with 17 points, followed by Grady Lantz who added 7.
Brookville had three players leading their scoring with double-figures.
The Riverside Pirates also fell Wednesday night to Fort Recovery 45-37.
Riverside started slow, trailing 9-5 after the first quarter, but found momentum in the second, taking a 19-16 lead into halftime thanks to a strong finish by senior Jaxon Woods.
However, the third quarter proved to be a turning point, as the Pirates were hit with a series of unfortunate fouls, shifting momentum back to Fort Recovery.
By the end of the quarter, Riverside found themselves trailing 30-24.
Woods led the Pirates with 21 points, while fellow seniors Gavin Orsborne scored 7, and Damien Smith added 4.
The Pirates finished the season with an 8-16 record.
