Benjamin Logan Hosts Invitational; Lady Lakers Wrestle at Iron Maiden Tournament

Benjamin Logan hosted their home invitational and ended the long day of wrestling hoisting the Champion Trophy.

It was a full team effort and congratulations to Owen Jordan for winning his first tournament title.

The Indian Lake Girls wrestling team competed at the Bellefontaine Iron Maiden wrestling tournament over the weekend and finished 7th out of 67 teams.

Led by their 2 seniors at 110 Isabel Brunson going 5-2, finishing 4th and scored 25.5 team points, and 170 Tori Roby going 4-2, finishing 4th and scoring 24 team points.

140 Augusta Biederman going 4-2 finishing 5th and scoring 17 team points.

235 Maddie Miller 6-2 and finishing 5th and scoring 23.5 team points.

130 Riley Shaner competed very well finishing 3-2 on the day with 10.5 team points and 155 Kilyee Haude also battled well and finished 3-2 scoring 8.5 team points.

105 Shannyn Brunson 0-2 competed hard.

As a team, they finished with 21 team pins.

The Lakers go on to Gibsonburg for the Hammer Tournament on February 3rd.
