Several area volleyball teams played Tuesday night, with Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, and West Liberty-Salem earning varsity victories.
Varsity – Benjamin Logan 3, Graham 0
The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders hosted Graham Tuesday night in a CBC Mad River Division matchup and earned a straight-set victory.
Benjamin Logan won 25-13, 25-10 and 25-15.
Georgia Daniels led the Raiders with 12 kills, while Summer Cline added 10 kills. Abby Vance and Storm Levan each recorded four kills.
Autumn Cline directed the Benjamin Logan offense with 26 assists.
Brielle Kline posted a 1.71 passing rating, while Lydia Johnson recorded a 2.00 passing rating.
The Raiders will travel to Indian Lake Thursday.
Varsity – Indian Lake 3, North Union 0
Indian Lake hosted North Union Tuesday night and came away with a straight-set victory, winning 25-23, 25-17 and 25-22.
Cami Bailey led the Lakers with 10 kills, nine digs and two aces.
Courtney Altstaetter added eight kills, two digs and two aces, while Alivia Kinney had six kills and two blocks.
Mackenzie Miller recorded four kills, eight digs, two assists, one block and an ace. Madison Davis added four kills, four digs and an ace.
Addyson Roby finished with six kills, 29 assists, one block and 12 digs.
The Lakers will host Benjamin Logan Thursday.
JV – Indian Lake 2, North Union 0
The Indian Lake JV Lakers also earned a sweep, defeating North Union 25-20 and 25-19.
Claire Tidwell led Indian Lake with 11 kills, while Taylor Duff added seven kills and three digs.
Layna Nessler recorded seven assists and four digs, while Lux Kipker finished with 12 assists and five digs.
Makayle Clary added six digs and four receptions to target. Kyler Carruthers had two digs, four receptions to target and two aces.
Freshman – North Union 2, Indian Lake 0
The Indian Lake freshman team fell to North Union in two sets, 18-25 and 21-25.
Addison Headings led the Lakers with three kills and seven digs. Samantha Altstaetter, Adeline Schulz, Carsyn Warnecke and Julie Wolf each recorded two kills.
Warnecke added six digs, while Schulz had five digs and Wolf finished with seven digs. Jazzy Blackburn contributed four digs.
Varsity – West Liberty-Salem 3, West Jefferson 0
West Liberty-Salem completed the program sweep of West Jefferson with a straight-set varsity victory.
The Lady Tigers won 25-12, 25-16 and 25-21.
Reese Winters led the Tigers with 15 kills, while Lilli Heminger added nine kills. Sophia Landon recorded 20 assists, Emma Liggett served seven aces, and Reagan Winters finished with 11 digs.
West Liberty-Salem will host SCC Thursday.
Varsity – Jonathan Alder 3, Bellefontaine 0
The Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs traveled to Jonathan Alder Tuesday and fell in three sets, 9-25, 6-25 and 16-25.
Arianna Rangel led Bellefontaine with five kills, while Ava Layman added four kills and went 5-for-5 serving.
Lexey Brown had two kills and a block, while Jazmin Nelson recorded one kill and one block. Alayna Boyd added two kills and three digs.
Presley Vigansky finished with 10 assists and one kill, while also going 5-for-5 serving with an ace. Jillian Ullom led the Chiefs with nine digs.
JV – Jonathan Alder 2, Bellefontaine 0
The Bellefontaine JV team also fell to Jonathan Alder, 13-25 and 18-25.
Rylyn Hoskins-Rose recorded a kill, a solo block and went 4-for-4 serving.
Ellie Bosiljevac added a kill and went 6-for-6 serving with an ace. Gianna Davis had a kill, six digs and an ace.
Alexis Hogan went 9-for-9 serving with an ace and added two assists. Brookelyn Oaks recorded 10 receptions to target, three digs and one assist.
Bellefontaine will host Tecumseh Thursday, with JV first serve scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
Varsity – Bethel 3, Riverside 0
Riverside traveled to Bethel Tuesday and fell in straight sets, 17-25, 16-25 and 18-25.
Molly Carman led the Pirates with five kills, while Valerie Knight added four kills and two blocks.
Emilee Robinson paced Riverside with 13 digs, followed by Chloe Purtee with eight and Kenzie Stotler with six.
Kara Klingler finished with 12 assists.
JV – Bethel 2, Riverside 1
The Riverside JV team fell to Bethel in three sets, 26-28, 26-24 and 18-25.
Ellie Zwiebel led the Pirates with 14 assists and two kills, while Bella Robinson recorded 18 digs.
Kenzie Stotler added 10 digs and two kills. Addison Shoe and Rolissa Foreman each had five kills, while Izzy Hudson contributed three kills.
Lily Jackson finished with five aces.
