Bowlers Knock Down Pins: Bellefontaine, Riverside & West-Liberty Salem


The Bellefontaine bowling teams took on Indian Lake on Monday.

The girls started slow tonight but came back in the second game.

Leading the lady chiefs tonight was Gracie Hood with games of 203 & 234 for a 437 series, Chloe Heminger added a 192 game and a 340 series, Haylee Yelton a 170 game and 324 series, Haylee Rutherford a164 game and 324 series, Nevaeh Lafollette 150 game and Aery Mullins 140 game.

The Lady Chiefs are 7-0 in the league and will be back in action Tuesday night at home against Northwestern.

The JV girl’s final score was 1361, Indian Lake 1120.

Kenzie Bernard had a 179 game and 290 series, Isabelle Gunnett rolled games of 127 & 127 for a 244 series.

The BHS boys varsity team rolled past Indian Lake 2514 – 1961.

The high game for the Chiefs was Garrett Brede with a 212 game.

The high series was rolled by Alex Williams with games of 188, and 197 for a series of 385.

David Allen left his mark with games of 195 and 180 and a series of 375.

Brandon Pinkerton added a 183 game.

Colton Wisner chipped in with a 180 game.

The Chiefs rolled baker games of 136, 204, 177, and 200.


Riverside visited Greenon Monday at Bowl-10 lanes. Greenon won the girl’s match 1945-1615.

For the pirates, Kaitlyn Jackson had a 151 game and Kyleigh Duff added a 132 game.

In the boy’s match, Greenon was a winner 2439-2386, Gage Stevenson had a 387 series and Cooper Crouch added a 228 game.

For the pirates, JV boys Ayden Mees had a 281 series and Jason Friend had a 270 series.

West Liberty-Salem competed against Mechanicsburg.

The girls fell 2803-2133.

Leading the Tigers was  Alyssa Mueller 182 game, Elli Ullery 178, Lilly Gearheart 159, Sadie Paul 144, and Payton Leightner rolled a 143 game.

For the JV team, Savannah Gluckle rolled a 126 game, Mars Gibson 104, Makenzy Sandefor 165, and Haylee Earles rolled a 170.

The boys also fell to Mechanicsburg 2771-2386.

Rolling games for the boys was Kaden Francis with a 190 game, Luke Thomas 162, Tucker Searles 178, Adam Jennings 213, and Zander Gluckle added a 234 game.
