The Varsity Spartans were defeated by Hardin Northern Monday with a score of 45-52.
Phil Davie led the team with 17 points and 4 rebounds.
Following Davie was Zeeke Wylie with 12 points and 3 rebounds, Wyatt Schlatter with 8 points and 7 rebounds, and Luke Gaertner with 7 points and 2 rebounds.
Their overall record is 2-2 and 1-0 in the OVCC.
They play again Thursday night at home at 7 pm in a league match-up against Sidney Christian Academy.
The Calvary Christian JV boys basketball team fell 37-45 to Hardin Northern Monday night.
Evan Schmidt was the leading scorer with 12 points.
Christian Rogan followed with 9 points and was the top rebounder with 5.
Fletcher Lambert chipped in 6 points.
Monday’s game brings their record to 1-3 overall and 1-0 in the OVCC.
The Spartans are back in action at 12:15 pm on Saturday at Milford Christian.
