Cedarville tops WL-S; Raiders fall to 0-11 since ’08-09 season

Area basketball teams were in action Friday evening.

In a game broadcast on 106.9 The Bull, Cedarville topped West Liberty-Salem 54-40.

The Tigers started off the game hot with a 13-2 run. The Indians would then cut the lead to 14-10 at the end of one and they did not look back.

Matt Jones led WL-S with 20 points while Taran Logwood pitched in 11 points.

The Tigers fall to 8-5.

Cedarville won the JV game 42-30.

Bellefontaine fell on the road to London 56-45.

Carter Snapp led the Chiefs with 14 points. CJ Wilson added 13.

Bellefontaine falls to 6-6 (2-2 CBC).

Benjamin Logan falls to 0-11 for the first time since the 2008-09 season, losing to Northwestern 52-33.

Ty Anspach led the Raiders with 15 points.

Benjamin Logan fell in the JV game 55-46.

The Raiders were led by Hayden Alexander’s 18 points.

Indian Lake topped North Union 56-45.

Camdon Tuttle paced the Lakers with 19 points, Dawson Finfrock added 13, and Caiden Nicol pitched in 11 points.

Indian Lake improves to 6-6 (5-0 CBC).

The Lakers won the JV game 52-44.

Madden Lillard led the way with 15 points.

Urbana edged past Graham 50-47.

The Hillclimbers improve to 10-3 while the Falcons fall to 5-8.
