The Indian Lake #1 Farm team, sponsored by Apex Exterior Services, turned in a strong all-around performance Thursday night, defeating Ridgemont Farm 5-3.
Indian Lake relied on a combination of timely hitting and outstanding pitching to secure the victory against a Ridgemont squad known for its offensive firepower.
Leading the way on the mound was Kamden Lacher, who delivered three dominant shutout innings. Lacher kept Ridgemont hitters off balance throughout his outing, allowing just two hits while striking out six batters. His effort helped set the tone early and gave Indian Lake the momentum it needed.
The Indian Lake offense provided plenty of support. Kamron Doty, Bo Cascioli, Liam Rice, and Logan Stockmaster each recorded two hits, helping keep pressure on the Ridgemont defense throughout the game.
Leadoff hitter Boone Dickson sparked the offense from the top of the lineup, scoring two runs and finding ways to get on base and create opportunities for his teammates.
Indian Lake capitalized on its scoring chances and played solid baseball in all phases of the game to hold off Ridgemont’s late push. The balanced team effort allowed Indian Lake to improve with another quality win and continue building momentum as the season progresses.
