Chiefs 12U lost 9-6 against Butler Baseball in a rain-shortened game in Vandalia Thursday evening.
The Chiefs plated 3 runs in the top of the first aided by a 2-run double off the bat of Colson Garver.
Butler responded with two runs in the 2nd, three runs in the 4th, and four runs in the 5th.
William Jenkins capped a 3-run 6th inning with an RBI double.
The Chiefs rally attempt was ended by rain.
Garver went 2-3 with 2 doubles on the evening.
Sennett Stolly was also 2-3. The Chiefs fall to 16-6-2 on the season.
