Bellefontaine and Mechanicsburg girls golf, along with the Bellefontaine boys, were all in action Tuesday, with the Chieftains and Indians turning in several strong individual performances.
Kenton Ridge 167, Bellefontaine 169 (boys)
Bellefontaine fell to Kenton Ridge 169-167 Tuesday in a close boys golf match.
Ean Fultz led the Chieftains with a 37 to earn medalist honors. Keaton Dinovo followed with a 42, while Sammy Strayer carded a 44. All three freshmen tied or set season-best scores.
Noah Smith rounded out Bellefontaine’s team score with a 46. Hudson Banta added a 47, while Colson Garver finished with a 51.
In the JV match, Tyler Rossey led Bellefontaine with a 47. Beckett Kesler posted a personal-best 53, while Christian Sterling finished with a 55.
Jonathan Alder 180, Bellefontaine 194 (girls)
The Bellefontaine Lady Chieftains fell to Jonathan Alder 180-194 Tuesday but reached an important milestone by breaking 200 for the first time this season.
Olivia Dearwester led Bellefontaine with a 44, followed closely by Paxton Stewart with a 45. Ella Fultz carded a 52, while Allison Myers finished with a 53.
The Lady Chieftains continue to show improvement as the season progresses.
Mechanicsburg 205, Southeastern 237 (girls)
Mechanicsburg picked up a 205-237 victory over Southeastern in girls golf.
Blake Rausch led the Indians with a 40 to earn medalist honors. Arielle Hysell followed with a 52, while Karen Baldwin carded a 54.
Reagan Kile finished with a 59, Emma Moore shot a 60 and Clara Forrest added a 64 for Mechanicsburg.
