Lady Raiders Bowling Falls Just Short Against TP Lanes

The Varsity Lady Raiders Bowling fell short by just 5 pins Wednesday night at TP Lanes, with a final score of 2,137 to 2,142. Leading the way for the team was Kaelyn Corwin, who rolled a 148 and a 179 for a total of 327 pins. Lorali Klopfenstein was consistent with games of 152 and 151, finishing with a 303 series. Hunter McColloch added a 189 game. The JV Lady Raiders, however, came out victorious in their match against Northwestern, winning 1,651 to 1,328. Reigan Thomas led the JV squad with games of 160 and 165, totaling 325 series. Jacey Koehler chipped in a 136 game, while Makinzy Legge added a 110. The Varsity Lady Raiders will be back in action on Saturday, December 14th, for the Monarch Tournament at TP Lanes, starting at 9:30 am.

Ben Logan Boys Bowling Triumphs Over Northwestern

The Ben Logan Boys Varsity Bowling team secured a win at home, defeating Northwestern with a total pinfall of 2,937 to 2,708. Caleb Knight led the Raiders with a 484 series (226, 258), while Dylan Stewart rolled a 440 series (246, 194), and Nate Davis added a 439 series (177, 262). Jarrett Buckenroth also contributed with a 429 series (182, 247), and Landon Stoodt rolled a 212 game. In the Varsity Baker Games, Ben Logan split with Northwestern 2-2. The Varsity Boys Bowling team is now 5-1 in the CBC.

The Ben Logan Boys JV Bowling team also was victorious against Northwestern, with a total pinfall of 2,220 to 2,196. Colton Klopfenstein led the JV squad with a 347 series (190, 157), followed by Asher Wade with a 344 series (171, 173). Conner Chambers rolled a 302 series (156, 146), Pierce Jenkins posted a 289 series (145, 144), and Jace Lyons finished with a 272 series (156, 116). The JV squad also took 3 out of 4 Baker games from Northwestern and remains undefeated with a 5-0 record.

The Varsity and JV Boys Bowling teams will face off against the Graham Falcons at Southwest Bowl in Urbana on Tuesday, December 17th, beginning at 4:00 pm.
