The OHSAA state wrestling tournament was held over the weekend in Columbus.
In Division II, Graham came away with another state title; their 22nd consecutive and 24th in program history.
Placing for the Falcons were Jake Landis (106) 8th, Colt Ryan (120) 3rd, Brogan Tucker (132) 1st, Hayden Hughes (138) 2nd, Bryce Kohler (144) 3rd, Eli Jacks (150) 2nd, Luke James (157) 3rd, and Gunner Cramblett (165) 1st.
In Division III, Mechanicsburg brought three wrestlers to the tournament and two of them brought home medals.
Senior Zane Hitchcock (215) finished 5th, capping off his high school career as a two-time state placer. Sophomore Ronnie Thomas (190) finished 4th.
Josie Davis, a senior from Sidney, overcame a semi-final default to earn 3rd place. She finishes her career as a 4-time girls’ state placer; 3-time state champion.
Indian Lake sophomore standout Owen Pummel lost two straight on Saturday, ending his second high school season.
