Indian Lake Middle School Laker Football Teams Wrap Up Home Season; BLMS and Graham MS Split

The Indian Lake Middle School (ILMS) Laker Football teams faced off against North Union on Thursday night in their final home game of the season.

In the early matchup, the 7th-grade Lakers showcased their strength with a commanding victory, defeating the Wildcats 32-6.

In the later game, the 8th-grade Lakers also showed promise, successfully moving the ball but ultimately falling short with a score of 6-12.

Looking ahead, the Lakers will compete against Graham on October 17th in their final game of the fall season, eager to finish strong.

At Graham, the Benjamin Logan 7th Graders fell to Graham 24-14. The Raiders played a tough game against Graham.
Cayde Buck had an impressive 65-yard touchdown run and Hollis Boysel caught a nice touchdown pass from Luke Long.

The 8th-grade boys faired better as they downed Graham 46 – 6. The Raider defense had a stellar performance with numerous Raiders making tackles and breaking up passes.
The leading tacklers for the Raider D were Carrick Spriggs and Emerson Carpenter with 7 tackles each. Sebastian Stokes had 3 tackles for loss. Liam Elsasser had an interception and AJ Bergman added a fumble recovery.
The Raider offense was explosive due to great play from the offensive line. Rhett Newman had 179 yards and 4 touchdowns. Bock Bates had 35 yards and a touchdown. Micah Gregg added a 51-yard touchdown scamper. Gabe Predmore added 98 total yards of offense.  Quarterback Colten Little was 8/10 for 126 yards passing on the night.
