Lady Lakers & Spartans Net Wins; Pirates Fall in Close Game

The Indian Lake Lady Lakers beat Marion Harding 44 to 40.

Carly Strayer scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.

Haylee Edwards and Katie Roby scored 8 points.

Kennedy Schwaderer added 6 points and 5 rebounds.

Indian Lake JV lost 29 to 22.

Addy Roby scored 9 points and Hayden West added 6 points.

 

The Lady Spartans outpaced the Sidney Christian Eagles by a score of 48-23.

Abigail Reinhard led the way with 20 points and 4 steals.

Kari Gantz had 10 points and 5 rebounds.

KayLee Hurley had 8 assists, 7 steals, and 6 rebounds.

Madhuri Cook, Iva Wilson, Nora Thornton, and Megan Palmer each chipped in 4 points.

Kaylie Carter had 4 rebounds and 2 points.

The Spartans are 6-0 in the OVCC and 9-1 overall.

 

The varsity Lady Pirates lost to Waynesfield 48-40 Tuesday night.

The pirates got off to a quick start with a 13-5 lead and carried that over into the second with a 30-21 advantage at the half.

Waynesfield then overtook the lead in the third with a 35-34 advantage and carried it into the fourth winning 48-40.

Leading the Pirates in scoring was Reagan McDaniel with 11 points and Avery Perk and Aubree Huston both chipped in 8.

The Pirates now fall to 4-7.

The Riverside Lady JV pirates beat Waynesfield Goshen 40-11 on Tuesday.

Leading the Pirates in scoring were Maddie Lemly and Kenna Johnson both with 13.

They will play Milton Union at home on Thursday with a 6 PM JV tip.
