Laker girls’ golf finishes eighth at Versailles Invite

The Indian Lake Lakers opened the 2026 girls golf season Thursday morning at the Versailles Lady Tiger Tee Invitational, finishing eighth in a competitive 12-team field at Stillwater Valley Golf Club.

Indian Lake posted a team score of 430 over 18 holes, led by sophomore Adriana Andrus, who carded a 97 to place 10th overall. Andrus highlighted her round with one birdie, three pars, and seven bogeys, earning the Lakers’ lone top-10 finish.

Senior Lillian Michael finished 27th with a 108, recording three pars and four bogeys during her round.

Junior Lillian Strauser placed 33rd after shooting 112, tallying one par and three bogeys, while senior Terra Beltz was close behind in 34th with a 113, finishing with two pars and three bogeys.

Freshman Lucille Smith rounded out the Lakers’ scoring effort, placing 56th with a 131 and recording two bogeys in her varsity debut.

Indian Lake will look to build on its opening performance as the Lakers continue the 2026 season.
