Logan County advances to State Championship game

Logan County Little League team ran away from Clay on Saturday, scoring 9 runs in the 4th inning for a 13-3 win.
Tucker Searles led things off on the mound for Logan County, lasting 4 innings and striking out 10. Braden Tussing relieved Searles and closed out the game.
Logan County was ready to go in the batter’s box and base paths, collecting 10 hits and stealing 10 bases. Searles, Conner Leichty, and Jaxon Snipes all had multiple hits. Nixon Lillard got the scoring started in the 4th with a bases-clearing 3 RBI double.
Logan County plays Canfield on Sunday at 11 am in the State Championship game for a chance to go to Iowa for the LL Regional Tournament.
The team has won three games in a row since losing Tuesday in their tournament opener.
