The Logan County Braves Unified Bowlers traveled to Baton Rouge, LA to participate in the USBC National Unified Bowling Tournament from February 25-27, held at the Raising Canes River Center.
Three teams from Logan County sponsored by TP Lanes, Above All Power Washing, and Powerbuilt competed in the team division.
Six Doubles Teams competed.
Special Olympics Athletes, Adam Abshire, John Manning, Michelle Horne, Morgan Huffer, Taylor Young, and Tammy Horne bowled with their Unified Partners, Brad Jackson, Mark Rhoades, Landen Jackson, Brad Young, Mindy Young, and Julia Stefanac.
The Powerbuilt team of Adam Abshire, Brad Jackson, John Manning, and Landen Jackson brought home the gold.
The Above All team of Mark Rhoades, Taylor Young, Morgan Huffer, and Brad Young earned bronze.
The TP Lanes team of Tammy Horne, Julia Stefanac, Mindy Young, and Michelle Horne received fifth place.
In the doubles division, John Manning and Landen Jackson received gold medals. Taylor Young and Brad Young earned silver medals.
Tammy Horne and Julia Stefanac received bronze medals.
Brad Jackson and Adam Abshire received fourth place.
Michelle Horne and Mindy Young earned fifth place.
Mark Rhoades and Morgan Huffer received sixth place.
