The Raiders Swim Team performed well last Thursday at a tri-meet with Central Crossing High School and Groveport Madison High School.
Both the boys’ and girls’ teams did great, winning many top spots in their events.
Girls’ Team Highlights:
- The 200 Y Medley Relay team, made up of Annika Chappell, Winnie Bodin, Fiona Sweeney, and Lottie Bodin, took 1st place.
- Fiona Sweeney won the 200 Y IM, and Annika Schmidt took 1st in both the 100 Y Freestyle and the 500 Y Freestyle.
- The 200 Y Freestyle Relay team, with Winnie Bodin, Annika Chappell, Lottie Bodin, and Fiona Sweeney, also won 1st place.
- Mallie Ricketts came in 2nd place in the 100 Y Backstroke, and Annika Chappell earned 2nd in the 100 Y Breaststroke.
Boys’ Team Highlights:
- The 200 Y Medley Relay team of Landon Braddock, Carter Daniels, Liam Sweeney, and Jerrick Stephens finished in 1st place.
- Taavo Simovart won the 500 Y Freestyle, and Jerrick Stephens took 1st in the 50 Y Freestyle and helped the team win the 200 Y Freestyle Relay.
- Wyatt Gordon came in 1st place in the 100 Y Breaststroke, and Carter Daniels earned 2nd in the 100 Y Freestyle.
