Riverside baseball lost at Newton Friday night by a final of 9-6. Syler Clark took the loss on the mound going 6 innings giving up 9 hits and 9 runs but only 5 were earned runs. Clark struck out 3 batters and issued 1 walk. Gavin Orsborne drove in 2 runs with a single and Cooper Crouch doubled to assist the Pirate offense. Riverside drops to 3-3 on the year.
