The Riverside Junior High Pirates remained unbeaten Tuesday evening, cruising to a 50-0 victory over the Bethel Bees at Riverside Veterans Memorial Stadium in DeGraff.
With the win, Riverside improves to 5-0 on the season and continues its strong start to the year.
The Pirates’ offense was led by Khai Johnson, who found the end zone three times and added a PAT. Casey Hester scored twice, while Coy Yelton added a touchdown and a PAT.
Billy Shoffner also found the end zone for Riverside, while Charlie Varian and Preston Burchett each added PATs.
Riverside’s defense was just as dominant, holding Bethel scoreless throughout the contest to record another shutout.
Jacob Wren and Jackson Osborne led the Pirates defensively as Riverside continued its unbeaten season.
The Pirates will look to remain perfect next Tuesday when they return home to Riverside Veterans Memorial Stadium to host the Northridge Polar Bears.
Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
