RMS Volleyball Falls to Bethel; BLMS Defeated by JA, Chiefs Come up Short

The Riverside 8th grade volleyball lost to Bethel 11-25 & 19-25.

Leading the Pirates were:

  • Molly Carman had 4 points and 3 hits
  • Kenzie Stotler had 3 points and 1 ace
  • Valerie Knight had 3 points and 2 aces

They are 5-7 overall and play at Northridge Monday in league action.

Riverside 7th grade traveled to Bethel in a league game and was dealt a loss: 17-25 & 20-25.

Leading the Pirates were:

  • Eva Dodds  3 points with, 3 aces
  • Abigail Littlejohn 3 points with 2 aces and 1 kill
  • Morgan Klingelhofer 2 points with 1 ace
  • Madison Schindewolf 2 points with 1 ace
  • Ellie Zwiebel 2 points
  • Emma Pope 1 point and 1 tip
  • Krissy Thompson 1 point with 1 ace

The Benjamin Logan Middle School was swept Saturday when they took on Jonathan Alder.

For the 7th grade team, they fell in three sets: 28-26, 22-25 & 19-25.

8th grade lost in two sets: 17-25 & 21-25.

Georgia Daniels had 8 kills, and Nevaeh Fogle had 6 kills.

 

The 7th-grade lady Chiefs volleyball team battled hard but came up short in their Saturday morning match against Northwestern.

The set scores were 17-25 and 24-26.

Mia Brown led the team with 2 kills and 2 aces.

Rosalie Lightle added 4 additional aces and an assist.

Madaline Barrett provided solid defense tallying 3 digs.

The Chiefs are back in action as they travel to Northridge on Monday.
