Team Champ Swimmers Compete at Sectionals

Team Champ swimmers competed in the Sectional Championships this past weekend.

In the girl’s competition, Mechanicsburg swimmer Emma Moore qualified for the District Championships in the 200 Yard Individual Medley with an 11th-place finish (time of 2:32.37) and the 100 Yard Butterfly with a 13th-place finish (1:11.10).

Qualifying in the boy’s competition was Graham’s Tommy Neff in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a 7th place finish (1:02.90) and the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay and 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Neff, Joshua Ryman, Braden Bost, and Caleb Owens (4th and 1st places and times of 1:43.38 and 3:57.73). Also qualifying for districts was Triad’s Grayden Edwards with a third-place finish in the 200-yard Freestyle (2:02.91) and the 500-yard Freestyle (5:23.91).
