Urbana girls bowling team wins State Championship

Over the weekend, the Urbana girls bowling team won the OHSAA Division II State Championship.

They defeated Fairport Harbor 3-1 in the final.

In the qualifying round, Urbana’s Emily Fisher led the team with a score of 666, finishing third overall.

Senior Jazmyn Scott earned second-team all-state honors with a score of 650.

This is Urbana’s first state championship in girls bowling.
