West Liberty-Salem Local Schools is now accepting interest from candidates for its next head boys basketball coach, offering an opportunity to lead a well-established program with a strong tradition and community support.
School officials say they are seeking a passionate, dedicated leader who can continue to build on the program’s success while fostering a culture centered on hard work, sportsmanship, and “Tiger Pride.” The position will involve mentoring student-athletes both on and off the court while promoting excellence in academics and athletics.
The district emphasizes the importance of developing strong relationships with players, families, and the broader community, along with maintaining a commitment to character development and teamwork.
Preferred qualifications include prior coaching experience, a strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and player development, and the ability to lead and inspire student-athletes positively.
