Zanesfield Petanque Club Hosts 7th Annual Ohio Cup

Zanesfield Petanque Club (ZPC) hosted the 7th annual Ohio Cup on Sunday.

8 teams with players from Amelia Island Boules Club, Carolina Petanque, Sactown Petanque, and ZPC completed.

After 3 qualifying rounds four teams were 4-0.

Justin Bo Johns / Iro Arzika (ZPC) +37 , Jon Dalmua / Doug Boes (ZPC/AIBC) +27 Roland & Vero Rakotondramanana (Sac) +24, Mohamed Boulahoual / Mohamed Bahi +20

All 8 teams moved on to single-elimination bracket play.

Team Johns / Arzika won their next two games to reach the final versus Team Rakotondramanana.

Johns / Arzika won 13-7 to become the 2023 Ohio Cup champions.

Team Boulahoual / Bahi beat Team Dalmua / Boes 13-7 to finish in 3rd place.
