High school football teams in all six divisions will hit the gridiron around Ohio this weekend for regional semifinal play.
The winners advance to the "Final Eight".
You can see defending Division III state champ Big Walnut battle perennial power St. Marys Saturday night at Indian Lake. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

The Bellefontaine Middle School cross country team hosted its first annual fall Fun Run for 6th graders yesterday.
Thirty-six students participated in the race.
The top 5 boys were Matt Entsminger, Dorian Hughes, Dalton Short, Aaron Rutherford, and Lane Kiser.
The top 5 girls were Madisyn Norris, Savannah Bryson, McKenzie Patton, Layne Mentzer, and Kaitlyn Varian.

Ray Small
Ohio State receiver and punt returner Ray Small has been suspended in what his father describes as heavy-handed and unfair treatment on the part of coaches.
Ken Small says his son is out for two games for missing a class, a charge he says his son denies. An athletic department spokesman says the suspension is for an unspecified violation of team rules.
Small's father said in interviews published Thursday that he thinks Ohio State is intentionally trying to ruin his son's career.

Buckeye Hilliker swimmers traveled this past weekend to the Great White North Invitational in Celina.
The younger swimmers really showed their talent among hundreds of swimmers from the surrounding area.
In the girls 8 and under division, Emily Fulmer finished 2nd in two events, and also had a 3rd and 5th place finish.
Amy Fulmer had a 12th place finish.
Macy Arn also had an impressive showing with 3rd, 8th, and 10th place finishes.

Facing a team they beat last year in the opening round of the playoffs, West Liberty-Salem went to Waynesville Saturday night on 98.3 WPKO.
This year's result was drastically different as the Spartans used home field advantage and surprised the Tigers 34-9 knocking them out of the playoffs.
Waynesville used several big plays to score with touchdowns of 65, 26, 69 and 46 yards.
