Squad One of the Razz-M-Tazz cheer squad took the 1st place award in the All Star Senior Level #4 Division competition held Sunday at the COA cheer competion at the Nutter Center in Fairborn.
The Squad Two took the 3rd place trophy in the All Star Youth Small Level #1 Division event.
Razz-M-Tazz will be competing in Ida, Michigan next weekend at the TU Miss Holiday Pageant.

Jim Tressel and the Bucks are headed back to Arizona.
The Buckeyes are back in a BCS bowl game for the fourth-straight year and the sixth time under head coach Jim Tressel
. Ohio State finished Number 10 in the final BCS standings and will play Number 3 Texas in the Fiesta Bowl at 8 p.m. ET, Monday, January 5th, 2009 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The Buckeyes finished 10-2 and 7-1 in the Big Ten, winning a share of their fourth-consecutive Big Ten title. Texas finished 11-1 and 7-1 in the Big 12 South in a three-way tie with Oklahoma and Texas Tech.

Former Benjamin Logan great Nicole Fawcett has helped the Penn State women's volleyball team advance to another regional tournament. The senior outside hitter had 12 kills over the weekend in tournament wins over Long Island and Yale at Penn State.
The top-ranked Nittany Lions captured their 34th consecutive win of the season with a three-game sweep of Yale (25-18, 25-11, 25-12) Saturday at Rec Hall in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Penn State advances to the NCAA Regional Semifinal Friday at Rec Hall at 6:00 p.m., and will play Western Michigan in the second match of the day. The first match will feature Illinois against Cal and will begin at 3:30 p.m.

West Liberty-Salem posted another win in the early season, pushing their record to 4-0.
The Lady Tigers defeated Graham 56-37 Saturday.
Becka Peterson led the way with 19 points. Haleigh Hickenbottom added 15 for the victors.
Graham won the JV game 37-32.
The Lady Pirates used a 23-3 1st quarter outburst to run away from Ridgemont 61-33 Thursday.

The Bellefontaine Chiefs finish the opening weekend of the boy’s basketball season 2-0 with a 61-58 win at home against the Sidney Yellow jackets. Zach Showalter led all scorers with fifteen points.
The Chiefs led virtually the entire game with Sidney only forcing a tie late in the second half. The Chiefs came out in the first quarter led by Que Carter and Nate Dodds each chipping in five first quarter points and Chris Lowe scoring four off the bench. Brock Mitchell, who led the team in scoring against West Liberty-Salem with nineteen points, got into very early foul trouble with two quick fouls within the first three minutes of the game. Coach Stolly had to sit him for the rest of the first half. The Chieftain bench picked up the slack with Lowe and Dominique Fudge playing long minutes and contributing eight and three point first halves respectively.
