High school football teams played regional final games around Ohio last night.
Mechanicsburg's great season game to an end while Alter rallied past defending state champ Coldwater.

Bellefontaine senior baseball standout Zach Mosbarger signed a letter of intent with Lake Erie College Thursday afternoon.
The outfielder and pitcher was joined by his parents and head coach Mark Brunswick during a ceremony at the high school.
Lake Erie is a Division II school in Painesville, which is east of Cleveland.
The school's baseball program is on the upswing. They play in the same league as Findlay, Tiffin, and Ashland. (Video interviews included.)

Regan Price
Regan Price, an 8th grader at Bellefontaine Middle School, has been selected by Ohio South Youth Soccer Association Olympic Development Program to attend an International Event with the state soccer team. She will be competing against teams in Holland and Germany.
Regan was selected during competition that began at the district level, progressing to state selection. She represents the top 18 players in Ohio South Youth Soccer in her age group.

A few of the local Buckeye Hilliker swimmers traveled to Kettering over the weekend for a very competitive two-day invitational. The meet included hundreds of swimmers from the Dayton and surrounding area.
Several Hilliker swimmers fared well.
In the 15 and older age group, Christian Garlock placed 2nd in the 50 free and 100 backstroke, as well as a 6th place in the 100 breaststroke.
