Bellefontaine Powerbuilt's great season came to a close last night.
Powerbuilt fell 9-2 against Lima Bath in the third round of the State Acme Tournament in Coldwater.
The game was decided in the fifth inning when Bath scored eight runs to break a 1-1 tie.
Bellefontaine gave up twelve hits and Nolan Hunt suffered the loss.
Brock Mitchell and T.J. Garman led the offense.

The Huntsville #2 (AcuSport) Farm Team placed second over the weekend in the 10 and under division of the Covington Tournament.
The local team went 3-2.
In their first game, Huntsville outscored the Med Lake All Stars 18-10.
Dylan Albright and Tyler Reprogle combined for the win, striking out twelve.

Keith Roberts
Bellefontaine graduate Keith Roberts was appointed interim head coach of men's and women's cross country and track and field at Heidelberg College Monday.
Roberts, a native of Bellefontaine and a 2000 Chieftain graduate, was also a two-time state champion in the 110 hurdles.

In 16 and under travel softball, the Indian Lake Lady Hurricanes won three games in the Marysville Final Fling Tournament over the weekend.
Indian Lake defeated the Dublin Celtics 8-0.
Caitlin Jordan was the winning pitcher.
Caroline Lehmon went 3-for-3 to lead the offense.
Lauren Bycynski, Jenna Jordan, and Kayla Thieman had two hits apiece.
