A two-vehicle crash Thursday evening outside Bellefontaine resulted in one person being hospitalized, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Township Road 216 and County Road 18.
Gordon West, 72, of Belle Center, was reportedly at the stop sign on Township Road 216 when he proceeded south toward Township Road 200.
As he entered the intersection, his vehicle was struck by a car traveling southwest on County Road 18.
Susan King, 71, of DeGraff, was driving a 2009 Buick Lucerne when she collided with West’s 2024 Toyota RAV4.
Emergency responders from Bellefontaine EMS transported King to Mary Rutan Hospital with suspected serious injuries.
West was not injured in the crash.
Deputies cited West for a stop sign violation.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
