Sunday kicks off one of my favorite events of the year, the Logan County Fair.
I love catching up with old friends, checking out the barns, seeing who has the best-baked goods, and making sure I get at least one elephant ear. Oh, and I can’t forget my favorite part, the livestock sale on Friday.
It’s the nostalgia for me, I’ve gone every year that I can remember. Sure, some things change, and yes it always rains, but for the most part, it is the same as it was 20 years ago.
The Logan County Agricultural Society is hard at work getting everything ready. I caught up with Craig Warne on Thursday and he had this to say about the preparations:

The Logan County Junior Fair Equine 4-H members have been hard at work all Spring revamping their arena and even adding a new overhead seating area. Lots of improvements have happened in the horse area of the fairgrounds and are planned to continue through 2024. Many community sponsors have sponsored these improvements with a match from the Logan County Agricultural Society.
