The 2026 Poultry Market Show was held at a soggy Champaign County Fairgrounds on Wednesday morning, the day after a severe storm struck the fairgrounds, sending canopies flying and knocking down tree branches.
The show was held in the Baker Poultry Show Barn, which was recently dedicated to Dan Baker, a longtime supporter of the poultry program in Champaign County, who passed away a few weeks ago. The barn was recently named in recognition of the work Baker had done for the program.
